Thar She Blows!

OK, "thar she leaks". Here's a shot of Mount St. Helens, taken this afternoon at about 2:15 PST. That's not a cloud, it's a steam plume coming out of the building lava dome.

  2. Mount St. Helens isn't close to me at all; it's quite a bit farther south, closer to Portland OR than to me. Mt. Rainier is the one that's near me but so far it hasn't been active in a couple hundred years or so.
