What Happened to the First Two Months?

OK January did seem unusually long this year but February absolutely flew by.  I haven't had anything to blog about.  Nowhere to go and nothing to do this time of year.  Overall, it's been a satisfactory winter, although last year March was a very stormy month.

After 8 awesome years in this house, we are moving out in June.  Back to my childhood home.  I'm not happy about it but there is literally no choice.  It didn't sell so we have to move there.  I really don't want a 2 story, 130 year old farm house but the rest of the property is nice.  We're busy packing and taking loads over every single day.  Painting needs doing as well.  You never realize how much stuff you have till you start moving it.

Been mostly stitching and planning our next trip to Ohio for Mark's first birthday.  The party is scheduled on my hubby's birthday so that's going to be super cute with the dual celebration.  I'm going to get to the Flight 93 Memorial this time no matter what!!!

This is a Russian bead embroidery that I worked on for a week in late November and then from after Christmas to mid January.

I love the 3D effect!!

I was drawn to that kit because it reminded me of this Pauline Baynes illustration in 'Voyage of the Dawn Treader'.

I got this dino fleece on sale a year ago with the intent of making Mark a blanket for his first birthday.  He wasn't even born yet at the time!!!

I started this after the blanket, in late January, and promptly lost a week when I was really sick.  But it's going much faster now.  This is 4 out of 6 pages completed.  I've been trying to bring a load of stuff to the house in the mornings, and get home by 12 to stitch for a few hours.  I'd like it done before our trip.

Sorry I haven't made the rounds lately.  I've been kind of blah with the cold and big life changes that don't make me terribly happy.  Crafting keeps me sane!  I'll try to be a better blogger!
