Clouds & Flowers

Another reward for dealing with winter are the moody skies and neat clouds.

Every now and then when I see a puffy, domed cloud, my brain still registers it as Mt. Rainier.

Nice to see the dogwood again

No idea....assuming azalea.

The rhodies at my mom's house look great.  I sure miss all the ones I had in my yard in Washington.

This one is one of my faves.

This particular rhodie has very fragrant flowers.  Most don't.

They smell sweet but not overpoweringly so.

Flowers and Decorations

It's always nice to see the pretty flowers emerging in the spring.  Our reward for putting up with the bleak, cold, grey, bucket of suck that is winter.

My friend Miki gave me these awesome purple crescent moon lights.  They are solar powered too.

Had to have this.  It was on sale marked down from $20 to $5.  Score!

Glass floats and whirligigs.

Sure wish lilacs lasted longer.

My jam packed kitchen window.

Five Minutes At The Beach

Literally. Five minutes.  While my shorts & tshirt were appropriate for doing errands and stuff, they were not sufficient for a windy day at Sandy Neck Beach.  There was no way I was going to be able to beach comb, so I took a few pics and headed home.

I love shooting waves

No idea what this bird is....either a sand piper or piping plover.

The sun came out long enough for me to take this
