Popped over to mom's and couldn't believe how much more snow she had at her house. She has a regular plow guy. He's running out of places to pile it.
Easily a foot of new snow.
Poor old cedars are so weighed down with heavy clumps.
Robins seem to be year round now because I've seen them all winter, yet no sign of spring.
This is in the CVS Parking lot in Forestdale.
Also in CVS parking lot.
Way too much snow!! I am ready for it to all go away and for spring to come. You got some beautiful shots! ♥ReplyDelete
Thanks! It really did look pretty the first couple of days but now the snow is getting dirty. Then we had some rain yesterday so we have sloppy ice and snow. I got stuck in my stepdaughter's driveway the other day....she had to shovel and push me out. So sick of this! lolDelete
Hi JoJo .. loads of snow - I am so glad we haven't had that this year .. and I hope it keeps away!ReplyDelete
Love the photos - and snow is beautiful and so silent ... keep safe and well in that slushy mess .. cheers Hilary
It's pretty when it first falls but now it's just getting gross.Delete
I know snow is a problem sometimes, but oh my, I love it! Especially in your pictures! Your mum's house looks so festive, so American! Like they show in movies :) Take care!ReplyDelete
I don't mind some snow, but this is ridiculous!!!! And yes, my mom's house is quintessentially American....and it's very old too. About 126 years old.Delete
I love the picture with robin. So cute.ReplyDelete
Gosh, I'd be so worried about my roof. I'm one of those morons that'd be up there trying to remove it.
(I finally posted the slumped bottle pictures).

My mom is having trouble with leaks inside the house thanks to this snow, and there's no way I'm getting on a ladder to clean it off. She needs to call a roofer, pronto.Delete
Well, first of all you know I love all that white stuff but I don't know how you guys get by back there without metal roofs! On the plus side, your photos of course are always beautiful and it looked like the sun was shining, so a beautiful day too? I love the robin. I'm just now hearing the birds chirping. Still can't get down the mtn. tho. - Stay safe n' warm out there!ReplyDelete
Some people have metal roofs but a lot of homes here date back to the 1700s. My mom's house was built in 1888. There are also very strict Historic District rules about what you can and can't have on homes, even new structures, in that area. You can't even have a window air conditioner unit visible from the street.Delete
Wow, all those snow photos. I like me a little bit of snow. We've had no snow at all in England this winter. Penny the Jack Russell dog and modest internet superstar is most frustrated. Because she's one heck of a snow plough :)
Penny the Jack Russell and Modest Internet Superstar would get buried in the amount of snow we had! Last night we had a hell of a thunderstorm blow through with torrential downpours so a lot of the snow is now gone.Delete
I know it's a pain in the proverbial, but it looks lovely :0)ReplyDelete
Yes, I agree, for the first couple of days. But now all the plowed piles are gross and dirty.Delete
If humans don't stop messing with the climate (US, Australia, China and the Gulf states hold up your hands as the guiltiest) this weird stuff will become the norm. May already be to late.ReplyDelete
Sorry to be so cheerful.
Hey I agree! Yet I still have friends who believe that there is no climate change.Delete
