Five Things that Make Me Happy!!

Magical Mystical Mimi did a Five Things That Make Me Happy meme the other day and I thought I'd play along, since the quality of my life is so much better since moving back east (though I do miss the scenery and climate of the PNW).

First, my man and our relationship make me so incredibly happy that I could burst.  He's very happy too, as you can see!  I think back on my prior long term relationships and two years in, things had become routine and somewhat 'blah'.  Not with this one.  I fall more in love with this man every day.

The furkids crack me up.  Baby Huey and Miss Thing.

Craft supplies of course.

The beach, beach combing and the sound of the waves not only makes me happy but relaxes me.

My stepchildren, our families and friends surround me with love, support and happiness!!!  My stepdaughter made my day when I got a 'Happy Mothers Day' text from her!!

Feel free to play along, and I'm also going to tag five bloggers as well:

  1. What a lovely post. It looks like your life is rich, full and very happy, who could ask for anything more?

I adore the part about craft supplies. Seems like everyday I find myself saying; "I need ___ in order to complete or do this project." And holy moly, craft supplies are certainly not cheap. Not long ago I placed an order for a few Swarovski crystals in colors that I NEEDED to complete a project. The package they were wrapped up in was about the size of a business card and not too much thicker. When I opened it and dumped the crystals into the palm of my hand there were barely enough to cover the very center cup of my palm. It looked rather pathetic and all I could think of was; "I just spent $40 dollars for these?

  3. You're right about the craft supplies! That's why we may hoard them on occasion.

A good relationship is a thing of gold. You don't realize this until you find the right one.

  5. Hey JoJo!! I have sure missed you! Thanks so much for stopping by to welcome me back. I would have to say my favorite 5 things are very similar to yours - my husband, my children, my pets, the beach - but I would have to replace the crafting with the love of good food. Although when I change jobs I hope crafting will become a priority again :)
