Miscellaneous Spring Shots

The first three pics were taken at the end of April up in Plymouth.  Spring has really struggled to arrive this year.  It's been so cold.

We had one really nice, warm day around the 14th.  If I'd known that was going to be it, I would've enjoyed it more.

I didn't make this.

Really want to make one with coloured glass next time, but this was a good prototype to start.

The next day was freezing cold.  It didn't feel so bad at first, so I took off on a mid morning walk around the neighbourhood in shorts, tshirt and without a jacket.  That was a huge mistake.  I was frozen by the time I got down to the beach.

Looks so warm doesn't it?  Nope.  Cold wind too.

At this point I cut the walk really short.  I was going to walk to Taylor's Point but there was just no way.

I just love this intersection.  It's just so unlikely to have where you lived and where you moved to as a street sign.

I will bum hard if we go from ice cold to hot and humid.

  1. So make sure you use plenty of really good sun lotion JoJo. We had a warm day yesterday, cooled down plenty overnight. Not sure what today will bring.

I love phlox. Great pix as usual.

    1. I keep forgetting to buy suntan lotion. I'm really not out in the sun that much so I forget about it.

  2. Beautiful pics! It always seems to me that we go so quickly from winter to summer, or summer to winter. I prefer spring and fall!

    1. Thank you! I prefer spring and fall too but this year winter has hung on just way too late. I'm dreading the summer humidity.

  3. My favourite is the first image of the blue outbuildings. That would make a nice sketch or painting! I don't like hot muggy weather either.

    1. Thanks! I liked how those buildings looked too. Sometimes run down stuff is very picturesque!
