    1. It really is. Having lived up there for so long, the fans have always embraced the Hawks in good times and bad. The entire region deserved this win. So nice to see the underdog get their first Superbowl win in their almost 40 year history. I just wish I could be up there to celebrate!

    1. I was hoping that the hawks had BC's support! Although one of my friends in Vancouver was rooting for Denver! Perish the thought.

    1. For the rest of the USA, people thought it was a boring game b/c it was a blowout. But for a Seahawks fan....it was HEAVEN!

  8. Having lived in Vancouver, I've always routed for the closest NFL team. Glad the Seahawks won. Now, all they need to do to become real champions is to try and beat the Grey Cup champs.

    1. I always root for the BC Lions...I watched them win the Grey Cup on my birthday in 2011, live streaming online. I do miss having the CBC as part of my channel lineup!! I would buy a Lions shirt....and in fact I did visit a pro shop near BC Place once, but I just cannot stand orange & brown. Who was the brainchild that came up with that 1970s colour scheme???
