Photo Experiment

I don't know if this is a real photograph or created by someone but I just love it.  It was going around in December labeled as 'Winter Solstice'.  I wondered if a person could actually get a shot like this in real life.

I was doing the dishes late one afternoon and looked out the kitchen window and saw the sun setting.  This was the day of the snowstorm.  Still a little too bright though.

This was the next day....the snow had melted off the trees but it was a little darker out.  I'd still like to work on getting this shot but I will only be able to get it in January and have to hope that there's snow!

    1. The post storm sunsets have been magnificent. As sick of snow as I am, the air does feel and smell so fresh afterwards.

    1. It's a shame I only get about 3 or 4 days to see the sun in this exact position in winter. It probably looked stunning from the beach but it was too cold to drive over there. I took these from my kitchen window which is why they are a little blurry. lol

Wow! Those are great photos JoJo! I'd seen that top photo too and wondered how they did it. Maybe it's not such a mystery after all having seen your beautiful photos. :)

First one looks like it's had 'help', but that doesn't detract from how awesome it is!

  8. If anyone can do it, you can. No matter what "it" is.

  9. Wow! You have such a great photographer's eye... I thought the first pic was a digital painting... yours are much more realistic.
