I Knew I Forgot Something.....

A day or so after the Boston bombings, I'd gone for a walk around town again.  Because of A-Z, I forgot all about these pictures and posting them.  I really do love my little town.

This was in the park near the Railroad Bridge.  Flag at half staff in memory of the tragedy.

Despite my atheism, I do enjoy shooting stuff at and near churches.

One of my friends tried to convince me to go back and buy this, so that I could put it in the yard and wrap it with lights at Christmas.  I nearly caved in and went back but I decided I need other things more.  If it's still there by the end of the summer, I'll get it.

  1. I LOVE your photographs. They are so creative and beautiful.

PS The flag photo is my favorite, the peer photo second and the open mouth (fire pit, fountain or flower pot??) is my third favorite. I want that thing in the third picture for my yard. :)

  4. As for the peace sign, good move, it might be marked down at the end of the summer.

Liked the photos, JoJo, my fave photo is the collection of wooden tourist signs. I like folk art and signage.

  5. Wonderful photos. The peace sign is great and D.G. might be right, it could be marked down by the end of summer. :)

  6. Great photos - love the peace sign! Yep, I could just see you adding some psychedelic lights to it... if it is meant to be; it will still be there when you are ready to buy it. I tell myself that all the time.

  7. The peace sign can be made by yourself.. may be if you have time and wish. Your city seems peaceful... it is always so - somewhere is a disaster, and we here are at peace and calm...
    Sending blessings your side, Jojo!

  9. Thanks everyone!

Teresa, I don't know what that stone thing is in the last picture. I'd never noticed it before on my many walks...it's up against a fence and doesn't appear to be used for anything.
