Betty Ann's Dairy Freeze has been in Buzzards Bay since 1955. I didn't go to it often, when I was growing up, unless I happened to be at the bowling alley across the street with my dad, uncle and cousins. It's great to be able to go there now though! It's much closer than Twin Acres.
They don't have as many flavours as Twin Acres, but they do have some interesting specials which I love.
Cute flip flop footprints.
This is out back in the parking lot/picnic table area.
I had banana and raspberry sherbet twist. It was soooo good. I also highly recommend their coconut & orange sherbet twist, coconut & pineapple sherbet twist and the raspberry/blueberry twist.
I love seeing these little places keeping their original charm.
ReplyDeleteCoconut and Pineapple? I would love to try that one.
Liked that photo study. I used to make my own ice cream, but don't anymore.
ReplyDeleteThe other little touches of charm you photographed (the white gate, the beachy bits-that gives us the details - well done)
I'll have the coconut and orange, please.
ReplyDeleteOh! Oh! Oh! I LOVE the look of that place. So retro! So styling! So YUMMY!
ReplyDeleteNom-noming in jealousy. And hey, love the flag! ;)
I love those old place, that still have the original charm from when they opened. Sounds like you enjoyed your cone, and it looked pretty tasty.
