Was able to get a few pics of the birdies that visit mom's birdfeeder. There were lots of greedy grey squirrels around too, including one that scared me twice when I was in or near the old shed at the back of the property.
This was all the snow that was left at mom's house when I got there. It was clear but very cold, in the 40's. I got out right before they had another 3" of heavy wet snow. Ah yes, spring on the Cape.
Birdie on the cedar tree.
I love how this chicadee is looking at me with an indignant look on his tilted face.

Birdies! That reminds me of a couple of our pets... Mayna birds... back home in the Philippines (when I was still living there that is). They talk. It was fun being around them. Thanks for sharing photos.

I love having wildlife in the garden, especially birdies. Ahhh!
ReplyDeleteI wish I had a bird house...My cats would love watching the birds all day!
ReplyDeleteJust got off the phone with my cousin who has a tame blackbird that visits her, now bringing her mate, too, and they demand food! She gives them blueberries, grapes and raisins - each has its favourite.
ReplyDeleteDouble ahh1
I love the attitude of that birdie! Hahaha!
ReplyDeleteHere all I have for company is a St Bernard as big as a horse. I shit you not!
