For those of you who haven't heard yet, I am soooooo pleased to announce that my sweet Bear and I are officially engaged!!!! When we held hands and made our wishes last November 11, this was what I'd wished for.
He proposed the afternoon of Thursday, August 2. My beautiful new ring is sapphires & diamond, which I picked out (1) because I love that combo and (2) our high school colours are blue & white and since that's where we met, the symbolism was perfect. It's a little big and I need to get it resized but I just can't part with it yet, even just for a short time. No date is set yet.
