Highfield Hall, The Gardens

The gardens and grounds at Highfield Hall are just beautiful!!  In addition to the fairy houses, there are beautiful flowers, a sunken garden, other outdoor art installations and trails into Beebe Woods.  They are also featuring quilts and fiber arts this summer.  This is a beautiful quilted pin wheel that spun in the breeze.

Bees were hard at work on the flowers.

Bee & moth sharing a flower.

Now these are spider webs I can get on board with.

I just love this carved and painted bird tree!

And the Shard House is my absolute favourite.

    1. It really is. Such a hidden treasure here. I don't even think my friends have gone here or know it exists.

    1. It's a real treasure. Heritage Museum and Gardens in Sandwich is lovely too but admission is quite spendy.

  5. I can see why the shard house is your favorite. I love the close-ups, and then the full view.
