It's always nice to see the pretty flowers emerging in the spring. Our reward for putting up with the bleak, cold, grey, bucket of suck that is winter.
My friend Miki gave me these awesome purple crescent moon lights. They are solar powered too.
Had to have this. It was on sale marked down from $20 to $5. Score!
Glass floats and whirligigs.
Sure wish lilacs lasted longer.
My jam packed kitchen window.
wow. A lot of beautiful things. I love the peacock and also the moon lights. very nice. Naturally all of the flowers are beautiful. I'd love to see your yard in person. :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks Debi! It's funky....like my house. lol
DeleteLove those solar moon lights. Awesome. Your place is very fun.
ReplyDeleteThanks Joanne! I'm just grateful that my husband puts up with my psychedelic decorating. haha
DeleteThe garden ornaments are so fabulous .. That white flower is gorgeous.. can you please tell the name of it?
ReplyDeleteThank you! That is a white lilac bush. You don't see them as much as the purple. That one was at my parents' house when they moved in, back in 1953, and it was already pretty big at the time so it's got to be over 60 years old.
DeleteLove all the flowers. Like you, I wish lilac lasted longer. I wish most spring flowers would last longer.
ReplyDeleteIt is a fact, Matt would not put up with all those bits and bobs of yours, but then each to his own.
I live for bits and bobs. When I was considering moving back here I remember telling Russell, "I like to decorate...I have A LOT of posters and knick knacks and stuff...are you OK w/ that?" He was...he just wanted me. haha He teases me about it but also acknowledges that it makes our place a home.
DeleteLove all this JoJo - haven't got a favourite, it all makes me smile :) xx
ReplyDeleteThanks Suzanne!
DeleteI love your home JoJo. It's so artsy. We have some houses like yours on Warm Springs downtown. I love them too. You're just cool.
ReplyDeleteThanks Mimi! I love colour...can you tell? lol
