The View from Right Here

Couldn't resist sitting on the deck one cool, dry Saturday afternoon for a bit.  I really do love where we live.  I wish we could buy this house.

If you sit on the deck and look at these branches, it looks like a heart!

Queen Anne's Lace has virtually taken over my yard.  I know it's a weed but I love it.

I thought it looked like this bush was starting to turn red.  Russell thought it was starting to die.  lol

We saw this cool cloud and to me, I first saw the Ravenclaw eagle.  Both wings spread upward, the beak/head looking down and the legs/feet under the body.

As the cloud moved, we got one of those rainbow iridescent clouds.

But to Russell, this cloud looked like a huge dragon.  The head with open mouth is on the far left, with one wing flapped up and the body and tail behind it and to the tree, and with the fore- and rear legs.

I wish we'd had more days like these this summer.

    1. I love Buzzards Bay. Way better than our hometown over the bridge.

  2. Wonderful photos, JoJo.
It is always fun to use one's imagination to see pictures in the clouds and interesting how one person will instantly see one thing, while another sees something very different. Sort-of like the moon . . . some instantly see the face of the old-man-in-the moon . . . others see a jackrabbit. :)

    1. Thank you! I've always seen things in clouds but I always have to point it out to Russell who then says, 'oh yeah! I see it now!' I don't think he did that much growing up. With the moon I see the man in the moon face on the east coast but out west it looks like a yin yang.

  3. Never seen a yin yang in the moon, must have a look. Love your pictures as usual. Is the house not for sale or is it just too expensive?

    1. Thanks! It's not for sale and even if it was we couldn't afford it. Unfortunately. Nothing in the Cape area is affordable at all.

    1. I know right? I haven't looked at it from any other angle in the yard, but I love how it looks from the deck.
