The weather was just amazing at the end of September. I got up one morning with the intent to work on stuff for my upcoming craft shows in November. At around 9:00 a.m., on a whim I checked the tidetables online. Scusset's low tide was 9:07. I grabbed my camera and flew out of the house.
I took this from the gas station on the way to the beach.
When I saw this new board walkway to the beach I was doing a happy dance. The last time I was there, it was deep sand and a grueling walk for the out of shape like me.
Whoo hoo! Sandbars!!! I didn't go out on them though; I was muttering under my breath about other beachcombers looking for treasures on MY turf too obsessed with looking for glass.
What?! I was practicing my beach writing!!
I lurve my zoom lens.
This was my haul for the day.
This looks like candy corn.
I'm so jealous of your blue glass fines. :) So many favorite photos here. I'll comment on your FB page. Also love the "no captcha" image in your sidebar. They are such a pain and I've left a blog bf commenting many times bc of them.
ReplyDeleteLOVE that last photo! Very cool finds JoJo! I also love those patterns in the sand and water... those diamond shapes are awesome.
ReplyDeleteYou take the bestest photos, Mizz Jo!
ReplyDeleteI am going to have to go to the beach and write in the sand that I would love folks to enjoy your beautifully thought out photos :)
ReplyDeleteYou scored a wide variety of colors and shapes, and I'd have been tempted to bite into that candy cornish rock. Beautiful photos, JoJo. I like the patterns in the sand too - they're mesmerizing.
