Of all the license plates in my collection, the Canadian polar bears are my favourite!!! I bought both of these online. The NWT one was formerly used in the 1990s and it cost me about $30. Not too bad!
This Nunavut plate was also purchased online also for about $30 but, I believe, not meant for use on a vehicle and only sold as a novelty item. I have seen a lot of them for sale with the Triple-0 number.
Yep, I love those too! We see quite a few up here... I think there should be more die cut plates - rectangles are so boring....
ReplyDeleteOf course, I love anything polar bear-related. We will have an amazing new Polar Bear exhibit at our Zoo next year. I can't wait for it to open!
JoJo is there anything you don't collect? We don't have fun plates like that here.
ReplyDeleteVery nice - an totally illegal over here!
ReplyDeleteOh wow, eh. I so remember seeing those type of plates when I lived in British Columbia. Didn't seem many of them, but sure would notice them.
ReplyDeleteI think you got yourself a bargain.
All the best,
Gary :)
Damn. Cute plates. I didn't know anyone could have plates like those.

These are the only shaped plates I've ever seen. That's what makes them so unique!
ReplyDeleteThose are really cool!

Those look really cool! Fun collection.
ReplyDeletevery cool! Made me start thinking of what the 50 states would come up with if they could issue shaped plates. Would California have an artichoke shaped plate?
ReplyDeleteLove these! I've never seen anything like this. Very cool!
