Cool pics! I learned something today. I have seen the bubbles here and knew that they were from a bug...but did not know that the name of the bug is spittle bug. For some reason the name makes me laugh...I know...so seventh grade! ;)
I am so pissed off with blogger, it keeps requiring sign-in then rejecting it, but it didn't indicate my comment on this post had crashed and burned!
Here goes again. Sagan looks so happy and smiling. The ladybird looks like a harlequin, which is bigger than British ones and has invaded, threatening to wipe ours out! And we call the foam cuckoospit, and the insects froghoppers, which sound quite imaginative.
I like the ladybug picture. And your dog looks happy to pose. :)
ReplyDeleteThe ladybug picture is so cute...is it bubbles?? or eggs??
ReplyDeleteBoth my dogs are so sick of me pointing the camera at them but Sagan decided to smile for that shot.
ReplyDeleteThose bubbles belong to a spittle bug. We have a few of them on that plant. It's an east coast pest.
Very nice too :0)

ReplyDeleteHello puppy :)
ReplyDeleteif I comment, it's not a wordless Wednesday so the question is how does one comment wordlessly? Can you see me nodding?!
