Val, I was reading about the history of the Ren Faire and was amused to find out that it's definitely an American invention. It's our romanticized view of medieval England I guess!!

Thanks for the list JoJo! I discovered I'm a lousy newsperson. There are two in my general vicinity and while I have heard of one, the other I was totally clueless about! lol Oh and I'm in Michigan.
Oh man, the skin on turkey or chicken is the best part! Never been to a renaissance fair even though we have them in Pittsburgh. I love all the different signs and how funny some of the sayings are.
Oh dang, what I miss about faire is TURKEY LEG! Om nom nom nom!
