I find it rather sad that while we have papyrus scripts from Ancient Egypt, our generation will probably only leave behind a pile of busted computers. I was horrified when someone said on the radio the other day that 'virtual books' in the US had outsold 'actual books' last year :0(

ReplyDeleteAlthough I am a terrible reader, I can not resist buying books. Somehow they make me feel "safe".
All we can do is perpetuate the love for books in our children, I guess. I thought about book extinction just the other day and it broke my heart.
At least both my children are avid readers and they adore actual books.
