Superbowl Sunday!

I love the Steelers and the Packers, so I'm pretty stoked for today's game.  I will be rooting for whoever has the ball.

I'm not a football fan but have a good time. Go Steelers! Go Packers!

  3. I only watched the Super Bowl because of the Foursquare Badges that I wanted to have. It's my phone game. Unfortunately, I didn't get two badges. I only got the Steelers badge. Sigh.

  4. My hub kept on mentioning the Steelers quarter back being a serial rapist and seemed enraged by it. He doesn't like the Steelers, but that clinched it for him.

He likes the Packers new QB.

OH MY GOD! Did you see the interview post game with the Steelers coach? He is AWESOME! He totally shut down this dumb ass reporter at every turn. I am going to see if anyone utubed it. It is the BEST!
Cheers! PS I like the Stackers thing. Pretty ingenious.

Watched it until half time 'live' (1am-ish UK time), then recorded the rest for a more 'decent' hour of the day. I thought the 'right' team won, they played better on the night, so well done Packers :0)

As for Ben Roethlisberger, we're not thrilled about his behavior off field either, know that. He has disgraced the city of Pittsburgh and the Rooney family. Those two factors plus a "slap on the wrist" did not win him any favor in our city. All of the comments regarding him playing the bulk of the season and the Super Bowl was beyond the control of those who felt he should have been punished more severely; rightfully so. I am not happy that he got away with it not once but twice. Do not let that be a reflection on Pittsburgh who prides itself on its sports teams, friendly people and beautiful city.

  11. I agree Nantz. There are far too many spoiled athletes who cast a shadow on a great team and city. Like when TO played for the 49ers, who never tolerated that kind of behaviour. It really pissed San Franciscans off b/c it made the team and dynasty look bad.

As for Roethlisberger, he just hasn't seemed quite right since that motorcycle accident when he wasn't wearing a helmet.

Exactly, JoJo, he had no regard for his own safety or the team/Rooney family when he chose to ride his motorcycle without a helmet. You would've thought it knocked some sense into his head...apparently it didn't.
