I started working on a paisley design colouring book earlier this year. I used Prismacolour pencils throughout the book. This was one of my fave books and I'm bummed that I finished! It was only 30 pages and I did one or two, per week.
I used adhesive crystals on this one.
Beautiful, JoJo. I think the first one is my favorite, though it's really hard to pick.
ReplyDeleteWow, I love these! I need to get a book like this - and hide them from the grandkids. :-D
ReplyDeleteSo pretty. You must find it therapeutic to colour. A stress reliever of sorts. So rewarding to see the finished results I'm sure.
ReplyDeleteI love the second from the top.
The patience you have, not to mention the eye for colour. I particularly like the third one.
ReplyDeleteMakes me feel like I need to listen to 'The Doors' (this is not a 'bad' thing)
ReplyDeleteVery funky!!
I have been sooo busy havent had time to read or check blogsxxx
ReplyDeleteThankyou for the lovely mentionxx
Love Sam xx
Grrrrrooooooovy Babay! (That was my best Austin Powers)
ReplyDeletePaisley reminds me of fractals... isn't that funny?
Absolutely STUNNING!!!!
ReplyDeleteI have always loved paisley. I have a shirt my dad wore in the 60's that I love to wear.
Your colors are amazing, babe. WOW WOW WOW!! Like looking at a kaleidoscope.
Gorgeous Gorgeous Gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteJust beautiful, JoJo! Not too long ago I bought myself a coloring book and a box of crayons because it was a relaxing activity. OK, I really wanted to get high off the smell of a new box of 64 Crayola crayons, there I said it.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! What a meditative and rewarding craft. Do you frame them or put them in a scrapbook? They are pretty enough to show off.
ReplyDeleteThanks to all of you for your kind comments!
ReplyDeleteNo, I don't display them once they are coloured. I just have a stack of finished books on a bookshelf. I think I have almost 20 finished books (since 2001).
These are beautiful! Love the 5th one in particular.
