Fen - YOU'RE ON! :D That'd be a blast. We'd probably get escorted back to the border by the RCMP and asked never to return to the Great White North. hahahahaha
So, do we now have to have a passport to go to Victoria? I was thinking of taking a family weekend there this year, but three of the four of us are without passports, and obtaining those would probably price such a weekend out of our market.
DP - You don't need a passport to go by car or boat, but by plane, yes. You can also get a Washington enhanced drivers license or a passport card for ease of crossing. I'm thinking about the passport car.
BASRIC - That is a photo I shot of the British Columbia Legislative Buildings in Victoria, BC, Canada. Victoria is one of my fave places in the world. I miss it.
Tess - Thanks. Maybe if Brian gets work soon, I can do a quick overnight up to Van Isle on the Clipper sometime this summer.
Ann - I would LOVE it if we could all meet up someplace! Victoria, NYC, London...doesn't matter, as long as my girls are there!! :)
Drowsey - The lights are on every night and are permanently fixed to the building. They only need to change one bulb at a time when one goes out, but I've never seen one out. Victoria reminds me of San Francisco with a British flair. :)
I've been (tho' not recently)
ReplyDeleteI should go to Alberta this summer but with no ZOom Airlines I don't know how I can get there in less than 20 hours.
ReplyDeleteIt's just a short ferry ride across the Strait for me, but alas, no cashola. :(
ReplyDeleteYeah Val, unless Scotty can beam you from England to Alberta, the travel time would be lengthy. And I know how much you love to fly.
when i win the lottery, i'll send you the money for the trip. and i'll join you!!!

ReplyDeletemaybe one day we can all meet there; wouldn't that be awesome!
Wow - that photo is amazing. Must take forever to put those lights on...and what if one burns out! LOL
