Had ideal weather....

Then took this....
...to get here.
Ate a delicious meal here.
Ate a delicious meal here.
I'm not sure how many of my fave haunts I'll be able to see in such a short period of time, but if I drag myself out of bed early enough, I might get to my old neighborhood, the Richmond District.
my older daughter lives in the richmond. how long are you in the city ofr?
ReplyDeletefor! oh, and hearty congrats to your friends.
ReplyDeleteWhoo hoo, I made the same trip from the UK (but I don't think we ate at the same place!)
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to the next chapter of 'Travels with Jojo'.
sorry you don't get to go back this year:( but hope you enjoy your trip to richmond!!
ReplyDeleteAnnie - I get there about 7 on Friday night, the wedding is at 1 on Sat., and I fly back to Washington on Sun. at 11 am. So a very quick trip. But if I get up at say, 7 on Sat., I can do drive by's of all my fave rave places b/f heading over to Glen Park for the wedding.
ReplyDeleteWhere in the Richmond is your daguther? We were on 20th Ave x Geary & Anza, the perfect location!
Sounds like you need to practise early rising on non-work days. Oh, I hate that.
ReplyDeletejo-my daughter lives @ 28th and geary. walking distance to china beach, and surrounded by fun places to eat and drink. i was thinkking that i may be down that way next month, and it would be fun to have a coffee and say hello. sounds like your time is extra-tight, though. my dad also lives in s.f., and just had knee surgery.
ReplyDeleteThere are so many places in Canada that I would love to visit. Some people call Canada 'America's hat' which I think is funny, but somehow I doubt Canadians would think so :)
ReplyDeleteCongrats to the happy couple!
Enjoy the wedding. Canada will always be there next year!
ReplyDeleteI worked on Fisherman's Wharf in my youth (1981); the store is long gone, but it was across from Alioto's. God, I had me some fun. I couldn't afford to live there, though.
ReplyDeleteKiss the city for me.
It looks so beautiful, cool, relaxing. We could all use a bit of that :)
ReplyDeletewow! that looks so beautiful. ive never been to canada. i need to add that as a must-see country before i die.
