Daisy - The first time i went to Canada in 2003 i thought their gas was so cheap... 75 cents. Then I found out that was per litre, not gallon!!! It's why I had to skip my annual trip to BC this year. The gas, crappy dollar-to-looney exchange rate and credit card foreign transaction fees make it financially impossible to go.
this is why god invented bicycles!!

Chevron?
ReplyDeleteVal - Chevron's a chain of gas stations out west. They are based out of SF and have a refinery in the Bay Area as well.
ReplyDeleteOhhhh! My sympathies! I once charged a whole Canadian vacation to a gas-credit card once, and I was looking a lot like that...
ReplyDeleteBut you know, I bet the whole week wouldn't cost as much as ONE DAY of ANY driving-trip now...

ReplyDeleteThat's me, every time I go to the gas station. Approx $40 bought me slightly less than 4 (yes, that's FOUR) UK gallons last week....
