  4. Not so happy for the turkey! (I'm a veggie, so I fully sympathise with the poor bird).

Have a relaxing day, all you sweet Vixens.

  9. Happy Thanksgiving! A black lab showed up on my porch. I took her picture and put up posters all over the neighborhood. We walked all over and asked if anyone knew her. She's sweet, well trained and a little chubby -but no collar! Tomorrow I'll work the phones and take her to the vet to have her checked for a microchip. She belongs to someone around here. Plus we Never have strays in this neighborhood. Ahhh I hate this!

  10. Update - dog owner saw my sign and came and picked her up! And it was actually someone we know (daughter plays soccer with WP). Yeah, a good ending!!

  11. That's great Claire!Roo ran away once this fall.Thankfully someone in the neighborhood found her and kept her in their house overnite. They spotted us walking aroud the neighborhood, calling for her and put it all together.

I can sympathize with the owners joy and gratitude towards you.Your a blessing Claire, not everyone would care enough to do what you did.
