We named Sagan after the late, great Carl Sagan, thinking that it'd be a great name for a proud, regal, intelligent German shepherd dog. Although he is extremely smart when he wants to be, most of the time he's a big clown. Here he is hiding behind the drapes in the family room. Whenever he bursts out from under the drapes, Brian and I always sing "The (Johnny Carson)Tonight Show" music. He's looking at us as if to say, "Here I am! I was hiding behind the curtains and you didn't even know!" (if you look close, you will notice that our nightlight is the leg lamp from "A Christmas Story").
He is precious- like his sister! What a beautiful face!

I love the photo of him hiding behind the drapes....My cat's do that :)
My GSD did that too!I have a picture of him peeking from the edge of the drapes looking at me like,"What?I was just looking for squirrels."
ReplyDeleteI think all big dog's are goofy, that is what makes them sweet.
Sagan is a VERY handsome boy.
julie...
ReplyDeletethere is no end to the antics with him. what a delight to have a doggy with such personality.
aww, what a sweet boy! he's gorgeous jojo! I so wish we could have a dog, so far though we have too many allergies. we do enjoy our friends dogs though. one of our neighbors has this big boxer named joe that we just adore, he's a big ol' baby!
ReplyDeleteGive him a big hug from me, he's totally adorable (unlike the parrot who is chewing the lid of my dvd storage box as I type).
ReplyDeleteAwww... I love him! Sagan is sooo adorable (and handsome too). My big guy is snoring right now as I type away. I took some very funny pics of Chrissy (my girl dog). I should post them. Do ya think it will embarass her?
