A Late Afternoon Stroll

My sweetie and I took a nice walk along the Canal one gorgeous afternoon in September.

Not sure what these are but they are pretty.  Couldn't tell if they had a fragrance.

  4. Lovely photos! Looks like you're having nice weather there, too. It's been very clear and nice here. I like your harbor! I need to see the ocean again because the Great Lakes are nice but there's nothing like the ocean.

  5. I must admit, I do love being so close to the water again. Washington was awesome and all, but Puget Sound was a pretty poor substitute for the beach, which was a 2-3 hour drive away. But here I have my choice of beaches within just a few miles. When you are born near the ocean, you have to live near it your whole life. I love the Great Lakes too, Music Wench, but it's just not the same.

You are so lucky to have such beautiful scenery around you. That alone would fill the soul having so much beauty surrounding you. And, to have someone to share it with is icing on the cake!
