Universal Islands of Adventure, Part 2

Seuss Landing was easily my second fave part of the park after Wizarding World.  Oh that guy in the picture is using a scooter like the ones we rented.

The only ride we did was this little tram that chugged along above Seuss Landing but it actually was a bit higher up than I would've liked at one point.

Great views

This was the part where I got scared cause it was way up above that lake.

How perfect is this?  Grumpa and the Grinch

Universal Studios Islands of Adventure

Due to the heat and various health/pain issues, we both rented scooters to do the rest of Universal the day after we did Harry Potter.  My left foot has terrible plantar faciitis and I wouldn't have been able to make it around the two parks on the second day.  After spending all that money on admission, there was no way I was going to miss out on anything.

We got there around 8:30 and went all the way to the farthest back part of the park, which is Jurassic World.

Looked like fun but I wasn't gonna do it.

Another ride in the King Kong area

Next was Toon Lagoon which was super cute.  All the cartoons and newspaper comics I grew up with in the 60s and 70s.

None of the restaurants were open yet.

Next was Marvel Super Heroes. I was never into this genre but this was really neat to see.

Quite poignant that he passed away two weeks after I took this picture.

Another 'nope' ride.  This was the Hulk I think.

Loved the mosaics on the ground.

Universal Orlando City Walk

Universal Orlando is quite a huge park.  It's actually 3 parks.  Before you even get to the box office to buy your tickets, you go through City Walk.  It's full of restaurants and bars and entertainment.  Clearly for the younger crowd and it doesn't cost any admission to see that part.

It was too hot both days to go into this chocolate factory.  Anything I bought probably would've melted unless they could've sent it to the front for later pick up.

Cute mini golf.

I think those boats are for people staying inside the park.  It would be cool to do that sometime and have the boat take us in, instead of using the parking garage.

 Everything was decorated for Christmas

I really don't know how these employees can handle being in a hot, heavy costume in that heat and humidity day after day.
