First Six Months Gone Already

I swear I just put my decorations away and now it's less than six months till Christmas.  I really need time to slow down already.

It's hot and humid....typical New England summer weather which I really can't stand.  Little Shadow's still visiting us for a couple nights each week.  She's so silly.  Now she will actually demand we go to bed.  She will sit in front of us and pant really loud, then walk down the hall to the bedroom....come back a few minutes later and repeat this till we finally go to bed.  Even if it's 8:30.  She's so silly.

I saw a big coyote trotting down the street in broad daylight.  So I was happy to see this mom turkey and her babies have managed to avoid it.

Reminded me of the beginning of 'The Partridge Family'.

Everyone's fave babby is 3 months old already and starting to smile and giggle a lot.  My daughter in law sends me pics and videos just about every day.  I always refer to him as a babby, not baby.  😍

This is another Russian bead embroidery that was a free gift with one of the kits I ordered.  Came with the little frame and a magnet for the back.  Knocked this off in an afternoon.

I was trying to replicate a San Francisco Victorian colour scheme and motif.

My windchimes broke so I refashioned them on a piece of driftwood and added the mirrors.

I love this Russian bead embroidery kit.

It's hard to put down.

Craft table:  Cluttered but comfy.

Pretties in the backyard.

My mother in law gave me the green, blue and red floats.  Does she know me or what?  😊

Now if time could just slow down, that would be great.

  1. Oh my gosh, he looks like a tiny little man! He's so adorable in that little button up shirt. Too cute! I love seeing all the wild life around here. Well, except the stupid rats that keep showing up. A result of cutting down all the woods around here. Ugh!

    1. His Mamaw (great grandma) gave him that outfit! Isn't he the cutest little guy? Both he and his brother have me wrapped around their fingers and they don't even know it.

    2. Hi JoJo!! I feel like it's been forever and a day since you've posted but it really hasn't been that long. I hope you're doing okay and enjoying those babies (and fur babies too!). Just letting you know I'm thinking about you. :)

  4. Indeed in 6 months we've shoveled snow with you, looked for sand glass, traveled, etc. You've been quite busy and crafty. Stay cool my friend. The Alabama coast had a nice sea breeze. Now I'm back and it's HOT in TX. Whew! Let's whine together.

    1. The humidity broke yesterday but it's still pretty warm out. And now we are in the process of selling my mom's house so that's a whole other thing keeping us busy!

  6. You do such beautiful work and I love love love paisleys. My eyes lit up when I saw that. I must have looked similar to the look "everyone's favorite baby" has on his face. He's handsome and so alert for 3 months old. Thanks for the smile visiting your blog has given me...I know I should visit more often. I'll try to do better in the future and if I don't, you can come kick my butt. Okay? Peace and love :)

  7. I love that Russian bead embroidery kit too but ya' know what I love more?? Pictures of your babby!! He's so adorable! He should be in commercials, and then of course movies, so then he'll be in Hollywood and he can introduce you to Vincent who will be 100 by that time. Hahahahaha.
