Onset

After walking around the beach and boardwalk, I was some hungry.  When I got home I let the dogs out, then called in a pizza for pick up at Mark Anthony's down in Onset.  I had a few minutes to kill when I got there so I took a few pictures there too.  Thanks to the show 'Family Guy', people finally know the correct way to pronounce Quahog.

The side of Mark Anthony's building.  Their pizza is soooo awesome.  I got a Greek salad too.

One last pic before leaving town.

What a busy day that was!  Can you tell I was eager to get out?

  1. I'm not surprised you wanted to be out and about. Looks like a delightful spot. We very rarely eat pizza. Got nothing against it except in this part of the world too many things are mixed on it. Prefer pizza in Italy (or used to).

    1. It's been hard to find decent pizza around here these days. Mark Anthony's is hit or miss, depending on how busy they are. I lucked out this day. I'm glad I got out last week because we have cold & rain all this week.

  2. I always like seeing your photos of the area. So how do you pronounce quahog? (is it like the pronunciation of Smaug, the dragon. . .?)

    1. It's pronounced CO-hog. Everyone from out of town says 'Kwa-hog'. lol I've caught myself mispronouncing scallop though, after 22 years on the west coast. It's 'SCAH-lup'.

  3. Hubby loves quahogs, me not so much. He eats them raw with hot sauce or he used to. I do like my fried clams though.... Enjoy all your pics, glad you are out and about taking pics.

    1. Thank you!! A lot of people here eat them raw too, with the hot sauce. I wish I wasn't allergic to shellfish cause I really miss stuffed quahogs. And shrimp! Sadly my day trips have come to a screeching halt thanks to the weather!
