Scarecrows of BBay

They seemed to be displayed kinda late this year, but at least they do them!  I don't think it'd be fall without the scarecrows!!!  I went downtown a couple of times to shoot them as they began to appear.  Of course I am pretty far behind on these postings, as it's now November 4th but I started taking these pics on 10/18.

This one kinda creeps me out....It's like it's looking right at my camera.

This one is on my street.  Such a cute scene!

I went back the weekend after the Harvest Train trip because the scarecrows placed along the train route had been moved to town.

Most of the telephone poles in town have corn stalks and scarecrows on them.  It's really cute.

  2. People do go to a lot of trouble don't they? Some are so much better than others. Thanks for sharing them JoJo.

  3. Very nice scarescrows, I like several of them. Thanks for taking the time to record them for us! I'd probably like making those. I made stocking heads when they were the latest craft and had one called Jacques. . .dried apple face stuffed life size 'dolls' were the rage here for a while, too. Crafters just want to have fun.

    1. If we owned this house I would probably do way more with the yard but I never have. I would rather someone else make the effort. lol

  4. Obviously a lot of people worked very hard to produce these, and it's certainly been well worth the effort :0)

That table scene is adorable. But, I really loved the peg leg. That's super creative and so is the shopping cart one. What fun!

  8. Hi JoJo,

Hay, hay, I just love your post stuffed with some superb photos. Thanks and I wish we had a "fireworkscrow" to scare away the idiots who keep setting off fireworks in the streets over here.
