Scusset Beach

The weather was just amazing at the end of September.  I got up one morning with the intent to work on stuff for my upcoming craft shows in November.  At around 9:00 a.m., on a whim I checked the tidetables online. Scusset's low tide was 9:07.  I grabbed my camera and flew out of the house.

I took this from the gas station on the way to the beach.

When I saw this new board walkway to the beach I was doing a happy dance.  The last time I was there, it was deep sand and a grueling walk for the out of shape like me.

Whoo hoo! Sandbars!!!  I didn't go out on them though; I was  muttering under my breath about other beachcombers looking for treasures on MY turf too obsessed with looking for glass.

What?!  I was practicing my beach writing!!

I lurve my zoom lens.

This was my haul for the day.

This looks like candy corn.

  1. I'm so jealous of your blue glass fines. :) So many favorite photos here. I'll comment on your FB page. Also love the "no captcha" image in your sidebar. They are such a pain and I've left a blog bf commenting many times bc of them.

  2. LOVE that last photo! Very cool finds JoJo! I also love those patterns in the sand and water... those diamond shapes are awesome.

  3. You take the bestest photos, Mizz Jo!

  4. I am going to have to go to the beach and write in the sand that I would love folks to enjoy your beautifully thought out photos :)

  5. You scored a wide variety of colors and shapes, and I'd have been tempted to bite into that candy cornish rock. Beautiful photos, JoJo. I like the patterns in the sand too - they're mesmerizing.

  6. You found lots of treasure and the pictures you took are simply breathtaking! ♥

  7. Amazing photos as usual. Love the stones you found can't wait to see what you'll do with them.
