BBay Celebrates Christmas

The lights and decorations are up at the Buzzards Bay rotary near my house.

Love Charlie Brown.

And of course 'Merry Christmas' has fallen out of fashion thanks to all the stupid whining and complaining about it, so the generic greetings have to go up.

Here's the park by day.

The park by night.  I had to freehand these shots because I just didn't feel like dealing with my tripod.

And the rotary at night.

  2. It's nice to see a town celebrating. My town just puts lights up on main street and nothing else..

  3. Love that they decorate! Even with the PC signs, it is great...

It seems so weird to me that there is no snow - we have piles of the stuff this year!

  5. Wow, you have a maypole and a bandstand! Not much traditional stuff like that left in the UK. My borough seems to have a tree for each shopping area, the main one is the leaning tree of Lewisham, with a few blue lights, pathetic, but my nearest one at Ladywell is smaller, neater, prettier, with lovely white lights.

Yours knocks spots off it though.

  7. Gorgeous pictures!!! It is such a pity that everyone has such a hangup about saying Merry Christmas.

  8. Love the decorations, so lovely. I am not too fond of the ones around here, except the tree I posted on Facebook.
