What a Difference a Day Makes!!!

Our weather is truly all over the map these days.  We had that beautiful, balmy day on January 1st, followed by freezing cold weather from the 2nd through the 6th.

I shot this on the morning of January 6th of the very wintery, snowy sky and Canal.  The wind just about froze my face off.

We woke up to a dusting of snow that morning.

January 7th dawns clear and warm again!  We went for a walk on Onset Beach as part of our anniversary celebration.

My sweet Bear.

Pepper happily romping off-leash.

She's thinking one of the following:  Can I smell that?  Can I roll in that?  Can I eat that?

Goofy dawg ran right into the water and splooshed around.

My squeeze was calling this 'the most photographed boat in Onset'.  I used it for Project 365.

I'm currently taking donations so that I can buy this house.  Anyone? Anyone?

Of the 12 roses strewn on the beach, these 2 were perfectly juxtaposed.  We assumed that there must have been a memorial cremains scattering at the beach.

I won't be heartbroken if the rest of the winter stays this mild and snow-free!!!!

  1. You're pictures are beautiful like always JoJo. I'm a fan of the beach shots, living in that house would be an absolute dream.

  2. Thanks Bev! I am LOVING living so close to the beaches again. I didn't realize how much I missed living near the coast till moving closer to it. As for that house, I bet anything it sits empty all winter long and used as a summer home. There are tons of beautiful homes on the water that looked pretty desolate.

You need to contact a travel agency or magazine to sell your photos to...they are too good for just a hobby. The roses were beautiful...as if the two together were meant to be. Our weather has been awesome...loving these warm temps in January!

  6. Oh I have no idea if that house is even for sale...I just want it!!! It seems to have weathered the hurricane earlier this year and it's still standing and lord knows they have had lots of blizzards & nor'easters.
