Write it Down

My friend Sonnia at A Ladybug's Life tagged me in a Blogging Meme, where you respond to the questions by handwriting your answers instead of typing them.

1.  What's your name/blogger name?
2.  What's your blog's URL?
3.  Write:  The quick brown fox jumped over the lazy dog.

4.  Favourite Quote?

5.  Favourite Song?  OK, this one took about a half hour's worth of thought, as I probably have at least 1,000 fave songs.

6.  Favourite Band/Singers?  Again, I could have written a list a mile long.  So I stole Sonnia's response for my last one.

7.  Anything else you want to say?

8.  Tag Three People.

  1. I love that quote, babe. It is reminiscent of what Brandon says in the Crow and in his last interview.

I finally did mine at Spookstories too, because Sonnia does not have access to HERE BE MONSTERS yet.

I find it rather sad that while we have papyrus scripts from Ancient Egypt, our generation will probably only leave behind a pile of busted computers. I was horrified when someone said on the radio the other day that 'virtual books' in the US had outsold 'actual books' last year :0(

  3. Waterstones are now selling more ebooks than printed ones too, Diane.

  4. I agree, Di.
Although I am a terrible reader, I can not resist buying books. Somehow they make me feel "safe".

All we can do is perpetuate the love for books in our children, I guess. I thought about book extinction just the other day and it broke my heart.

At least both my children are avid readers and they adore actual books.

  5. I always love the handwriting meme's. And your handwriting looks very young, Jojo.
