This was a store in Columbia, Missouri. Pretty scary combo don't you think? I have nothing against liquor stores or gun shops, but combining them into one place? I think it's gone now. If you click on this pic to make it bigger, you can see the reflection of the UHaul truck I was in. I wanted to pose the ex in front of the store with a funny hat and the fake rifle my dad made, but as we approached at 7:30 AM, we found the shop open and decided against making fun of them. Drunk, armed southern rednecks and 2 New England hippies in Grateful Dead shirts probably weren't a good mix. Instead, we rolled by very slowly so that I could get a shot of the sign.
As an aside, because of this store, since 1989 I now sing Warren Zevon's 'Lawyers, Guns and Money' as 'Liquor Guns and Ammo'.
