Five Minutes At The Beach

Literally. Five minutes.  While my shorts & tshirt were appropriate for doing errands and stuff, they were not sufficient for a windy day at Sandy Neck Beach.  There was no way I was going to be able to beach comb, so I took a few pics and headed home.

I love shooting waves

No idea what this bird is....either a sand piper or piping plover.

The sun came out long enough for me to take this

  1. Nice pictures of a blustery day at the beach. I wouldn't have stuck around either.

    1. Thanks. I was so bummed...no matter what way I turned to be out of the wind, it still whipped me from all sides. The sand too.

    1. Thanks! I really never get sick of shooting the beaches and waves. They are always changing and shifting...calm one day, choppy the next.

My favorite pic is the sandy path with the stick fence. I just want to walk down there and spend the day. Great pics as always. :)

The color of the water is gorgeous. Like an emerald green. We've had such crazy weather here. Windy, cold, than hot and then cold again. I'm so tired of rain. Ugh! Where's my summer??

    1. I don't mind the rain but I could use with a bit more warmth, but w/o humidity. Tall order for this part of the country. lol
