Coolest Antique Collective Ever

More pretty Christmas windows in Plymouth

Then I came upon this place.  I loved the outdoor display.

What a unique curio table!  It's beautiful.  And spendy too, but worth every penny.

I almost didn't go inside but I'm sure glad that I did!  For some reason this year I'm obsessed with vintage Shiny Bright ornaments and I want to start collecting them.  So I went in to see what they had.

OK coolest place ever.  They were playing old Christmas music from the 50s, which I just love this time of year in antique stores.

I wanted all of them!  But I did find a nice box of 12 Shiny Brights that were on sale.

I started to have flashbacks of when I used to hit the antique stores in Sumner and Puyallup this time of year.

This place is so unique!  Inside the lighthouse was a small circular room of antiques.

Looking at the top of the lighthouse from inside

Each stall looked like a little store front.  It was just beautiful.

This was at the back of the store.

I chuckled at this!

Back on the street, headed to my car.

It was a great day for a walk and I'm so glad I went up there to see the decorations!

    1. My parents were never terribly sentimental about stuff so all the old items either got stolen from their shed, broken or given away. I've had to literally buy items from my childhood off ebay b/c my mother gave everything away.

  2. I wonder if they wrap all those trees and put them away every year. Antique from the 50's. Those were my teen years.

    1. I don't know how they store that stuff. Yeah...I see stuff from the 80s labeled as 'vintage'. Eegads.

  3. Hi JoJo,

Ah yes, it's me, yes me, that, um, much-loved blogger checking out and leaving a comment on your wonderful blog! :)

I absolutely adored those photos. I could stroll along and stare into those shop windows all day long. Of course, in my case, I'd probably get arrested for staring into a shop window with all its Christmas themed stuff :)

Enjoy the rest of your weekend, eh.

  4. I think vintage applies if it's after the last 20-30 year cycle when the specific item was trendy. A woman who owned a vintage clothing store told me. Clothing usually can only go through 2-3 cycles, but furniture and objects can go through many. Lovely pix, I like seeing what people collect and how they display it.

    1. Thank you! I don't know how these vendors part with some of these items. I would make a bad antique dealer cause I'd keep all of it. And that makes me feel old cause as it is, when I hear 10 years ago, I think 1995. lol

  5. What nice antiques stores! Ours around here are all the same, bland, horrible pole-barn buildings. Occasionally you find some good stuff, but not often.

    1. I saw that article about the woman and the ceiling baubles! I loved it!!!! That would be cool to do. But all the holes left in your ceiling for the rest of the year would be a bit unsightly.
