Freakin FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My blogger statistics show that this is my 1500th post since 2006.  Wow.

Temps have been all over the map lately....there was even snow north of Boston the other day....but it appears that spring has finally, FINALLY sprung around here.  It's been a long time coming.

The crescent moon and Venus put on a nice show last week.

Daffodils starting to bloom.  Seems that there are more of them in the yard this year than I noticed in years past.

No idea what these are but they are purty.

And their purple counterparts.

These tiny white flowers are on a bush out front.  Again, no clue.

I decided to break out the wind chimes and wind spinners for the tree next to the deck.

The gnome is out.  It's officially spring.

  1. Flowers finally!!! However, I've had to mow, mow, mow. I like your gnome. I have two in my breezeway.

Hey, I replied to you, (from yesterday). I was going to email, but couldn't find your email listed anywhere.

  2. Whenever I see a tree like the one you've decorated, I think that a light-hearted spirit lives there (that would be you). It cheers others to see it. I don't recognize those flowers either, but spring flowers are always welcome.

    1. Why thank you! I do love to decorate. Russell chuckled when he went outside yesterday to grill our late lunch and saw the tree. I'm so lucky he loves me. lol

  3. I recognise the flowers but couldn't name them. I am glad spring has sprung for you. It's trying to do so here - we certainly have flowers coming into bloom.

    1. We are very relieved, although I have to say my boots and coat are still easily accessible just in case.

  4. Applause! Applause! I don't see any white in the backgrounds of these photos. The gnome is cute, and your windchimes are so pretty. I bet you made them, yes?

CONGRATS ON POST 1500! WOW! You're awesome, JoJo.

    1. WHOOPEEEE! lol Thank you!

I have sad news to report though....It's super windy today and I came home to find the gnome shattered on the ground. I guess being outside 24/7 for spring and summer made the resin brittle so it was beyond repair. :( The ball he was holding was solar powered and when it got dark out, the light would come on inside it and cycle through the colours of the rainbow. I am sad. :(((

I didn't make the chimes, just the wind spinner CDs with the glass blobbies.

    1. Oh Anne it was such a rough winter for us. And today is cold, windy and raw, I had to wear my winter coat. But I know we won't get anymore snow.
