I often wonder if it's still there. I googled it and found other people's pics and references to having seen it in the 90s. I'm not even sure i could find it now...it was near my old office in West Berkeley though. I know I walked there from the office.
This was down closer to the RR tracks where the neighbourhood borders on that industrial area. I worked on Fifth between Delaware and Hearst in W. Berkeley. I suspect it's gone too.
Beautiful message. ♥

DeleteI really like this!
ReplyDeleteI remember I was shooting black and white that day and I was so pleased to stumble on it. I think it looks better in B&W.
DeletePerfect photograph for wordless wednesday.
ReplyDeleteThanks! :)
DeleteImmediately I thought of love. :)
ReplyDeleteYes! Love definitely works for this too!
DeleteBlack and white creates a totally different ambience. Forever and ever....

Now that I shoot digital I never think to edit the pics to make them black and white. I should...I miss film though.
DeleteInteresting. I've seen a lot of Berkeley, but I'm guessing that sight no longer exists. Kinda ironic considering the message.
ReplyDeleteBe well, JoJo.
