Trying to get in lots of walks before the heat and humidity of summer starts. Headed down to Onset one morning. I still can't believe what a ghost town it is and the old houses and cottages are pretty cool. I would love to live there.
I especially try to get out on Sundays now, to try and cheer me up after my honey leaves, usually around BBay as there always seems to be something new to see. This tree reminded me of the Dave Matthews Band 'Fire Dancer' logo.

I love this view!
West entrance of the Canal
All the lovely flowering trees are magnificent, I especially like the photos of the blossom covered branches against a crystalline blue sky - breathtaking.
ReplyDeleteThank you for a wonderful montage of marvelous photos of beautiful places.
JoJo, it is sad how some really charming places become deserted and desolate, the people who once lived there moved on to places that offered more opportunities or perhaps some of them simply passed away.
Oh and ps - Yes I did own a couple of lava lamps, way back in the late 60's and early 70's. :D
I love the blossom, but the seagull picture is my favourite.
ReplyDeleteI like the reflective shots, and water scenes. You should tie some of your photos together by theme - beach, east coast cities, crafts, etc. You have so many good ones.
ReplyDeleteGood eye, JoJo.
Gorgeous photos again JoJo! I flippin love that tree and might try to sketch it sometime. :)
ReplyDeleteWish I had such a lovely place to walk!
ReplyDeleteBoat is awesome! Cue Jefferson Airplane.
ReplyDeleteThanks all! :) This is a pretty area. So different from the west coast.
ReplyDeleteStunning photos, JoJo! Lovely walking areas for you must make it easier to get out and going! I just love the spring colors and flowers. You captured them beautifully!

Gorgeous shots. I miss beaches...CO needs a beach...I did get to see the East Coast cherry and magnolia trees in full bloom this year when I was out there for a family wedding at the end of April. It had been a few years since I'd been out in the springtime. They're so pretty!
