It's Big. It's Purple. And It's In My Yard.

One Friday afternoon last month, my sweetie decided it would be more prudent to bring his semi to the house, rather than go to Sandwich to drop it off and have to back track to over the bridge to our house.  Friday traffic on the Cape is a horror show.

It practically towers over the house!

  3. The inside of that truck is so messy and dirty that I don't think I want to shoot it at this time. lol Like comedian Rita Rudner said, men are like bears with furniture. lmao

  5. Wow, that thing is HUGE!!! My husband used to wonder what it would be like to drive one of those. He thought it would be fun for us to do that together. I'm 5 feet tall. I need a ladder just to get in it let alone drive it!!! lol

  6. I'll tell ya Music Wench, I'm as tall (as short?) as you and I felt like I was riding on top of a house. I nearly pitched head first out of the passenger side when I climbed out of it too. lol

BTW Val, nice use of the New England accent by dropping the 'r' from 'whopper'. lol

  8. Yes, there's a small bunk area behind the drivers cab, which is comfy (wink wink). All kinds of nooks and crannies to hold stuff. He brought the microwave into the house from the truck since he didn't use it on the road. The fridge doesn't work though. All kinds of electrical hookups so he can run his computer and charge his phone.

When we were together on his bday, we went to Scusset Beach in this big-ass truck and the Sagamore Bridge never looked narrower. lmao

  13. Maureen, it gets about 8-10 miles to the gallon, depending on how heavy the trailer is. And it takes the more expensive diesel.
