Rainy Saturday Project

This being NFL playoff season, as well as Washington's rainy season, we watch a lot of games and enjoy the coziness. I took full advantage of it and did one of my new Mill Hill Beaded Cross Stitch Kits from 1-2-3 Stitch.  Their prices are so reasonable.  This was only $5.95 and it came with all the beads, floss and the crystal treasure on the top "clasp" of the purse design.

It's quite small, like the maple leaves I did.  It's stitched on black perforated paper, so I'll have to put backing on this.  It also came with a magnet, but I'm not sure if I'm going to use it that way, or make a pin out of it, or use it for some art project.

I would definitely make a pin out of it...it's gorgeous! By the way, I have to say that your posts have been jam-packed with beautiful photos, very thought-provoking accounts; all carefully and thoughtfully executed. I have very much enjoyed each and everyone of them. Keep up the great work!

  2. Wow. That is so pretty! I wish I can make those and put a pin so I can place it on hats that I wear during band gigs. So cute!

  4. How beautiful!

Oh for the days when a lady could get by with a small reticule, not a great big portmanteau like today!
