Scenic Dallas Drive and Willows Beach

What an amazing sunrise!

I started at Mile 0 of the Transcanada Highway, on Dallas Drive.

A memorial to Terry Fox.

I am standing on the southern tip of Vancouver Island, looking south across the Strait of Juan de Fuca, at Washington.

Willows Beach.  I never thought a narrow strip of sand in a suburban neighbourhood could yield so much beachcombing treasure!!

Chatham Islands

Those are the Olympic Mountains in Washington.

Sorry that was me, typing with 'Saturday fingers', the ones that hit all the right keys but not necessarily in the right order.

What I was trying to say was I feel strangely 'calmed' by these pictures and I'm not even there!!! Stunning job Jojo :0)

  3. Someone's been doing great things with that driftwood. How I long for skills...

Those first three sunset shots are absolutely glorious, almost surreal. You'll have to enlarge one and frame it. I really love the driftwood art too.
