"Groin-gate"

OK, the Oakland Raiders really sank to a new low on Monday Night Football. Tyler Brayton kneed Seattle Seahawk Jerramy Stevens right in the family jewels. Although he was tossed out of the game, he was only fined $25,000. I thought there'd be a suspension for sure. Just to show that I'm fair, Jerramy Stevens was not exactly the paragon of virtue in this game either, and he too was fined $15,000 for his own cheap shot earlier in the night. Not to mention a dropped pass that would have resulted in a touchdown.

  1. i didnt see the game, but i believe that one of my beloved Bulldogs is your 3rd string QB...David Green. He played all 4 years of his college career, and got a degree! he lead us to the sugarbowl win in New Orleans a few years back. he is from the next town over and is a year older than Megan. while he was at GA his best friend was on offense, they grew up playng peewee football together ...David Pollack, he went to Cincinnati, and was injured this fall, broke his neck...but i dont think he has any spinal cord injury...but it was sad...anyway another instance of the 6?degrees????

  2. From a CFL fan, I can't believe that any one of our CFL players (mostly imports from USA) would be that dirty. But considering the "goonish" players we have in our Junior Hockey (Vancouver Giants) the two people involved in the game in question, do not appear to be that bad in comparison. The photo speaks for itself. Our CFL semi final is this Sunday and then its off to the "Grey Cup" Canada's big time football Crown. Long live the Saskatchewan Rough Riders. DonW
