P-Town!

My stepdaughter was on vacation so we made the trek up to Provincetown to walk around and enjoy the sights, sounds and stores.  It wasn't super sunny but the humidity was off the charts, as it has been all summer.

Obligatory picture of Pilgrim Monument.  Did you know the Pilgrims first made landfall in this area of Cape Cod, before they landed & settled in Plymouth?  They were out of beer and needed to make some more.

Shop Therapy.....I could buy everything in here on the first floor.  I emphasize FIRST floor, as the second is porn, sex toys & novelties and fetish wear.

Literally could buy everything.

Town Hall

The shopping is amazing......but I was good.

It was wall to wall people and after I got home I found out that the annual Carnivale Celebration and parade was later in the week.

Such a sucker for archways.

This is my fave store....so much cool stuff on the cheap.  But it's also full of things that it makes walking around somewhat difficult with people in the aisles.  I got a few things but it was too hot and crowded to stay long.

Bumpah stickahs.

Half the time we went in stores just to take advantage of the air conditioning.

Just LOVE these door mats!

  1. Oh, my! If only I was younger and had more room, I could have shopped like crazy! I love those shops like the 'Shop Therapy' place. Liking those lantern lights, and I sure could use one of those mats, myself!

    1. Sharon you would die up there. lol Shop Therapy is the most amazing store. I didn't buy anything cause it's one of those stores that overwhelms me to the point that I don't buy a single thing cause I can't just pick ONE thing.

  2. Looks like very cool stuff all around despite the heat. And now you have new ideas on stuff to create too, I bet. Fun!

  3. Certainly a lot of different shops. I have never been a shopper - very unfeminine of me. Looks like a nice town. Pictures are good as usual.

    1. Yes..the first floor is great. In all the years I've gone there I've only been on the 2nd floor once and that was enough. hahaha
