Since the leaf peeping on the Cape wasn't so hot, I went up to Plymouth for a walk along the town brook. Totally worth it.
It was an easy walk to see the little covered bridge from where I parked at the Grist Mill.
A herring run.
The light pole was crooked, not me.

DeleteLovely pictures as usual JoJo. Fall is such a lovely season pity it comes before Winter. Gorgeous little covered bridge. Never seen one "in the flesh" as it were but seen many pix of them.
ReplyDeleteThanks Jo! There are other covered bridges that are way bigger....enough to fit 2 lanes for cars to travel over. I love them...I know other areas have them but to me they are distinctly New England.

ReplyDeleteThank you very much! We finally got some more colour down here a few days after I shot these but the leaves are falling off so fast. You can't even tell I have a grass yard anymore; it's covered in brown leaves.

DeleteSuch beautiful pictures. Autumn is late and rather drab here his year. I remember 1987 when we had a near-hurricane in SE London on 16th October, and it was considered to cause more damage than would have been the case because of a late autumn with leaves still on the trees. Things have moved on fast.
