Ye Olde Faire, Parte Three (see whate Ie dide there?)

There was a guy with a giant bubble blowing wand so I was able to get some good bubble pics.  It wasn't till I got home that I noticed that the guy with the mug on his head was in one of the pics, which was fortuitous. I'm not sure how he glues it on his head but there has to be some kind of adhesive.

The washer women wenches are really, really funny.

This guy was onstage and they made him run to the back of the crowd, put on the underpants and pull them up as high as he could and yell something like, 'With my big boy pants I can do anything!'

Super creepy.  Like a cross between a gargoyle and a Tatooine Tusken Raider (Star Wars geek alert...).

I tried on a few crowns....Russell was pushing me to get one but I didn't this time.  Maybe next year.

More giant bubbles.

Bring out yer dead!!!!

Things were winding down for us by mid afternoon, so it was time for a few family photos before we all went our separate ways for the day.

Val brought her friend Jackie along, and that's who is on the far right.

Jackie offered to take a family photo and I reluctantly agreed to be in it, but it's not too bad of me I guess.

Farewell till next year!!!

  3. Just read all 3 posts - I get so jealous of all the places to get to visit and enoy! We have heritage, but those photos ..... I want to do that! And it's a lovely family photo, I hate with a capital H, most photos of me. But then someone said to me that my family would rather have any photos than none, so I will have it taken occasionally now! x

    1. Hey you've gotten to see some awesome stuff too!!! This fair really is a super romanticized version of medieval times. I am sure the reality was much harsher than the fairs portray! lol Yeah I hate having my pic taken and it's driving Russell nuts. When I gave the camera to Jackie, I said, 'Neck. Up. Only.' lol Fortunately with me being so short, standing with all the tall people, neck up is about all you get with me in a group shot!!!
