The funny thing is, we had no idea when Diane (my cousin) shot it that I would be in silouette! I said, "hey take a picture of me in the sheep tunnel!" and she did. When she got her film back, we were surprised.
Wish I was still that svelte.... and to think my mom used to drill it into my head that I had a weight problem. Yeah I do...NOW.

Thanks, as always, for your comments. To answer your question, each year the sunflower has to be planted. One tiny sunflower seed makes the huge plant tho. As I mentioned in my blog, the one I posted about was over 8ft tall, and the flower was at least a foot across. Probably weighs almost 10 lbs once the seeds are mature. I got the seedling from my father in law this early summer. Next year I will use one of its seeds to do a second generation :)

Ohhh, that's absolutely beautiful. I love the lighting. The picture really projects a certain mood. Coming out of the darkness into the light.
